A new mole / change in an existing mole

Namely, one study followed 89,902 women at the age between 40 – 65 years, and noted their medical records over a period of 18 years. At the beginning of the study the number of moles each woman had was documented. It is shocking that during this study, 5,956 of the women were diagnosed with breast cancer.

The researchers who conducted this study explain that women who had the most moles out of the group had a 13% higher risk of breast cancer than women who had no moles.
