Fruits and vegetables with the least pesticides are the following: avocados, sweet corn, cabbage, pineapples, sweet peas (frozen), onions, mangos, asparagus, papayas, eggplant, kiwi, grapefruit, cantaloupe, cauliflower and sweet potatoes.

To remove pesticide residues from the fruits and vegetables here are some simple tricks that you can use.

White vinegar

In a bowl put about one cup white vinegar and leave the fruits and vegetables in for 15 minutes. Then, wash them well under running water. Around 98 percent of the bacteria and pesticides on fruits and vegetables killes the white vinegar.

Baking soda (Sodium bicarbonate)

The second option is baking soda. In a bowl mix one tablespoon baking soda and leave the fruits and vegetables in for 15 minutes. Then, wash them well under running water. Most of the pesticide residue from the surface of the fruits and vegetables will remove this rinse.
